that stuff on the spinner bait, that is called a rubber Skirt is a bait or spin cast rods usually are use to catch mainly large mouth bass and sometimes any big game fish.

in non-fly fishing the bait is the wight not the line.and the line is in Lb or KILO, in my country we use Lb to equal a pound like, 1 Lb is one pound or the wight of the fish.
