Pearsall`s Gossamer Silk Thread

Pearsall's Gossamer is unlike any currently manufactured silk.
Approximate size is between 6/0 and 8/0 and has 8oz breaking
strength.

What makes this thread so popular with critical tiers is
that this thread is properly burnished and finished silk.
This fine silk looks as though it has been poured into place.
It is made from strands of silk so long that few fiber ends
are left to interfere. There just aren't many fuzzies to
singe when you wrap with Gossamer.

The twist of the thread is the real magic. Gossamer's
twist is very consistent but not too tight.

This silk thread does not mottle when properly finished.
